Just because the summer transfer window has ended, does not mean that Real Madrid is not still thinking of acquiring Bayern munich left-back Alphonso Davies.
Davies is in the last year of his contract and Real Madrid might actually be willing to pay Bayern Munich a decent fee in January to get Davies early:
Real Madrid are prepared to give Bayern Munich one final chance to sell left-back Alphonso Davies in January for €15m (£12.6m) before they focus on signing the Canada international for free at the end of his contract.
Would Real Madrid’s prospects to acquire Davies have changed any if this injury below had happened a few days earlier?

Per one report, Arsenal FC was never really all that interested in Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman:
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman was in the transfer rumor mill all summer as FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain were two clubs linked to the winger. Another club with the 28-year-old on their radar was Arsenal, but they opted for another player.
The Gunners went for Raheem Sterling during last Friday’s transfer window deadline instead of the Bayern Munich standout. The question is whether securing the former Chelsea veteran was the right decision over someone like Coman.
Although Coman’s name was mentioned in the rumor mill, one expert believes this was his camp putting it out there to try to make a last-minute move out of the Bavarian side.
“Kingsley Coman was also linked late on, but I don’t know if there was any truth in that,” Charles Watts said, speaking exclusively to CaughtOffside. “His representatives were certainly doing all they could late on in the window to try and get his name out there to see if they could engineer a move.”
Ultimately, neither of these clubs secured Coman, who stays with the Bundesliga side. It will be interesting to see how this decision plays out for the 2020 UEFA Champions League winner and should things not work out for the winger, there’s the January window for a potential exit.
Coman’s contract with Bayern Munich has two more seasons on it after this one (it ends in 2027). With a big salary and litany of injuries over the course of his career, selling Coman could prove to be a tall task.

FC Barcelona was rumored to be interested in free agent midfielder Adrien Rabiot, but that might not be the case:
Barcelona are not in talks over signing any free agents, including midfielder Adrien Rabiot, despite reports suggesting otherwise.
Harry Kane is very solid aerial player, but if you asked the Bayern Munich striker to pick the best ever at working magic in the air, he would say Peter Crouch:
However, the England captain unsurprisingly picked former Spurs and England striker Crouch as the best he has seen in the air.
Speaking to ESPN FC, the Bayern Munich star said: “Heading? I’ll probably go for someone like Peter Crouch.”
