Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola could have his eye on two Bayern Munich stars for the 2025 summer transfer window — Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala.
With Rodri linked to Real Madrid for a transfer next summer, City could look to Kimmich to fill the void, while Musiala has long been rumored to be the apple of Guardiola’s eye:
Manchester City are reportedly targeting two key signings next year.
The Cityzens enjoyed a quiet summer transfer window with Savinho and Ilkay Gundogan Pep Guardiola’s only two signings.
And although the defending champions’ summer business has gone under the radar, according to a recent report from Fichajes, the 2025 window could be very different for the Sky Blues.
The Spanish outlet claims City have included two Bayern Munich first-team players on their transfer shortlist — Jamal Musiala and Joshua Kimmich with the latter in line to replace Rodri amid his links to Real Madrid.
Kimmich will be a free agent at the end of the season and with his future at the Allianz already under threat following a summer of strong speculation, a free transfer to the Etihad would not be surprising.
This isn’t the first time Musiala has been linked with a move to City. The 21-year-old emerged as a key target for Guardiola’s side earlier this year. However, despite being set to make an offer, the English champions have yet to make an approach for the Germany international.
Kimmich being a free transfer could allow for Manchester City to splurge on Musiala in the same window. While this seems far off, it is not really all that far off. Bayern Munich will — no doubt — attempt to ink both players to new deals in the coming months.
Free agent midfielder Adrien Rabiot turned down a chance to play for AC Milan:

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer says it is too early to really know the potential of this team.
“You’re always excited for things to get going and you want to see how you stack up as a team against the other teams. However, you can’t really judge that on the first matchday, and it’s only after about the sixth game that you can tell which teams are doing well and whether things are clicking with the team,” Neuer said. ““A lot will be down to us. If you play yourself into a good rhythm, like Leverkusen did last year, then you get a really good feeling on the pitch and that is what we want to create. We need to rediscover this self-confidence and the Bayern DNA.”

According to El Nacional (via 90Min.com), Barca thinks it will be able to get Williams next summer:
Barcelona believe Williams remains open to the idea of heading to Camp Nou in 2025 if they trigger his €58m release clause.

Liverpool FC still does not know if there is a future that includes Mo Salah with the club:

According to Bernabéu Digital (via 90Min.com), Liverpool already has an idea of who it might like to fill Salah’s shoes should he skip town:
If Salah leaves, Liverpool will try to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid. The winger was admired by Jurgen Klopp and is also appreciated by new head coach Arne Slot.
Per the Liverpool Echo (via 90Min.com), Salah wants to ink a new deal with the club:
