FC Barcelona star Marc-André ter Stegen has taken the reins from Bayern Munich star Manuel Neuer to become the starting goalkeeper for the German national team.
Could this ever happen on the club scene? For Ter Stegen, probably not. When asked the question, Ter Stegen issued a smile.
“Wow. I have a relatively long contract in Barcelona. I’m very happy there. My family is happy in Catalonia. I’m just looking forward to the season, that’s where my focus is. You never know what will happen in the future. I don’t know if playing in Germany will be a goal for me again in the future. We’ll see. But generally speaking, I’m very happy with my situation and with where I am at the moment,” Ter Stegen said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Hmmm…while he did not outright dismiss it, Ter Stegen made it seems like it was a topic that he did not want to broach at all at the moment.
