For the longest time, Joshua Kimmich was compared to Bayern Munich and Germany legend Philipp Lahm in terms of qualities and abilities. Kimmich might get a taste of the comparisons this time around, because word on the road is that he has a lookalike within the ranks of FC Barcelona.
“Last season I started playing as a full-back like Kimmich and it started”, Marc Casadó said (Onze via @iMiaSanMia). “On top of that, [Alejandro] Balde started highlighting the physical similarity. Now I can greet him [Kimmich] when we play Bayern”. The soon-to-be 21-year-old lad then said that it was probably best not to bring that topic up when he does link up with the 29-year-old German.
In terms of physique, Casadó (5’ 8” / 172 cm / 1.72 m) falls short (literally) of Kimmich by two inches (5’ 10” / 177 cm / 1.77 m) and is about 20 pounds lighter. If you must see who Casadó is, refer to this picture below.
