Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Savinho only suffered “cramp” during the 2-1 win over Brentford on Saturday.
There was some concern after the Brazilian international was taken off in injury time at the weekend, with Matheus Nunes taking his place for the final few minutes of the game.
Savinho has had issues with his knee since the beginning of the season, but Guardiola’s comments appear to suggest there isn’t anything to be worried about.
It means that the 20-year-old is likely to be in contention for both of City’s fixtures over the coming week.
