The German record champions are back. Are the defending title holders ready?
Next Saturday, we will find out when Bayern Munich plays host to Bayer Leverkusen in the most anticipated match of the Bundesliga Hinrunde.
And the Bavarians look like a team on a mission. Bayern continued its run of dominating results with a 5-0 league win over Werder Bremen this Saturday, Vincent Kompany’s men firing on all cylinders in attack and defense. Can Bayern keep up the tempo against much stronger opposition? Star striker Harry Kane doesn’t see why not.
“We’re Bayern and we don’t change our game for the opponent,” the England captain declared after the match (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “Of course it’s a difficult test, Leverkusen have been doing really well but we’ll go with the same mentality and attitude. Home game during Oktoberfest, it should be a great game.”
This is a matchup you will not want to miss. Tune in next week at 12:30 PM Eastern Time.
