Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola doesn’t think Kevin De Bruyne will be out for the long term despite missing the draw against Arsenal at the weekend.
The Belgian international picked up a groin problem versus Inter Milan last week but, asked for an update on Sunday, Guardiola said:
“I think it’s not a big, big one [injury], but was not able [to play] for today [against Arsenal]”
It’s very unlikely that De Bruyne would be risked against Watford in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening but there is a possibility that he will return to the matchday squad this weekend.
