In the biggest Bundesliga match of the season thus far, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen battled it out to a 1-1 draw. German internationals Aleksandar Pavlović and Robert Andrich were the unlikely scorers on the night, primarily due to Leverkusen’s defensive shell that severely limited the attacking spaces for both teams.
Florian Wirtz has been a hot button topic in transfer rumors as of late, teasing Bayern fans with the possibility of him joining the club’s current phenom, Jamal Musiala.
After the match (via @iMiaSanMia), Musiala and Wirtz were spotted hanging out in the Allianz Arena hallways.
According to recent reports, Bayern’s ability to consistently sign top talent is a key part of the efforts to sign Musiala to a contract extension. Wirtz is potentially a top ten player in the world who has realistic expectations to compete for the Ballon d’Or on an annual basis.
