Bayern Munich might not have to wait too much longer to get Hiroki Ito back on the squad.
After suffering a metatarsal fracture back on July 28th, Ito has not been available to the Bavarians, who could likely use another solid and versatile defender on the roster. Now, though, Ito is back on the training ground and working with ball per Abendzeitung journalist Victor Catalina:
Bad news for the #FCBayern : Jamal Musiala is out for the game in Frankfurt.
Good news for the #FCBayern : Hiroki Itō was able to train with the ball again this morning for the first time since breaking his metatarsal and also completed long sprints.
Ito will provide coverage — and a solid option for Vincent Kompany — at both left-back and center-back.
