Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha does not think his team will lack focus heading into its Champions League match with Bayern Munich.
“It’s a big motivation to play a game in the Champions League, especially against Bayern, a big team in Europe. You can’t be more motivated. We know we have to win. It’s not decisive because we aren’t eliminated if we lose, but at PSG we want to win every game. Tomorrow is no different. We’re here to win,” said Vitinha (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “We know we’re going to face a great team with world class players. I think they didn’t concede a goal for many games in a row now. We know what kind of team we’re facing. They apply a lot of pressure, but so do we. We’ll study them well, the coach will speak to us and I’m certain that if we follow the coach’s plan, we’ll get a very positive result.”
This should be a fascinating match-up between two very talented teams, who both want this game badly. Hopefully, the real winners in this match will be the fans, who have been eager to see Bayern Munich answer the bell in a true heavyweight.
