Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has been speaking out this weekend ahead of Chelsea’s next match against Nottingham Forest later today.
The Blues will look to keep the steam train pushing on in terms of momentum and getting results, and at home to Forest is a perfect opportunity to keep that steaming on.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now watching NEW Premier League striker name THIS season!!
They have won five games on the bounce now, and Caicedo is putting that down to news head coach Enzo Maresca.
“Maresca really likes play from the back and pass the ball through the midfielders,” Caicedo told Telemundo. “He is a good coach, he has helped us a lot to quickly adapt to the game system that he likes and I think that is noticeable on the pitch.”
Caicedo names his two idols
The Chelsea man has also been speaking about two players who he calls his idols, and they are two French stars.
“When I was little I always watched N’Golo Kanté a lot, I really liked Paul Pogba,” Caicedo said. “They are idols for me, I learned a lot from them.”
He also spoke about a current midfielder he is playing with at Chelsea and the good relationship they both have.
“I have a good relationship with Enzo on and off the pitch, we are getting better and better together,” he continued. “I think people can see that we understand each other better now.”
It certainly all does feel very positive around Chelsea right now and let’s hope that continues as the games come in thick and fast but with a short international break next week.
