In Bayern Munich’s weekend clash with Eintracht Frankfurt, Harry Kane was largely a non-factor as the match resulted in a 3-3 draw. Kane only registered two shots, both off target, and was substituted off the pitch in the 72nd minute.
After a hot start to the season, Kane is goalless in the last three matches. Albeit the competition was stiffer, his off the ball movement lacked confidence and the excessive number of minutes seem to be taken a toll on the 31-year old striker.
Kane picked up a knock In the Frankfurt match, creating panic for both club and country. Luckily, he received a favorable prognosis from the England medical staff (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Official Harry Kane medical update: The examination by the doctors of the English national team has shown that Harry Kane does not have a structural injury. The striker will therefore remain with the national team for the upcoming Nations League matches.
It would be better for Kane to get some recovery time, but due to other injuries England will probably include him in the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Greece and Finland.
