Vincent Kompany has made it apparent that his tactics involve high pressure, which is similar to what former Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick did during his tenure. The fear is that intense pressure for whole games until the end of the season can impact the players, but the Belgian insists on doing it anyways.
That’s my personality! You have to be ready in your mind – but we wouldn’t be the first team to maintain that for an entire season. We can expect that from ourselves.

This was followed up by a report from Tobi Altschäffl (via @iMiaSanMia) which stated that the players loved this new approach as it was the complete opposite of how they played under Thomas Tuchel.
So far, Kompany has not impressed during high-profile games, so he might want to address that as soon as possible.
