Despite not registering a goal nor an assist, Bayern Munich veteran Thomas Müller was one of the most influential and impactful players on the pitch during the team’s 4-0 victory over VfB Stuttgart.
While Müller did not think it was a perfect effort, he admired how the squad battled.
“In the first half we were a bit sloppy with the ball in the last actions. In the second half, Harry’s first goal threw Stuttgart off the balance. We kept pushing and worked hard. As I said two weeks ago after Frankfurt, we’re on the right path. That’s been confirmed today. Bayern fans can be happy with the win today. We players can be happy. We’re now looking forward to Wednesday,” said Müller (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Of course, FC Barcelona is awaiting the Bavarians in the Champions League…and Müller’s old boss, Hansi Flick, will be leading the charge for the Catalans.
Surely, fun time await.
