According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich would like Leroy Sané to take a pay cut to remain with the club.
Whether or not he would agree to that remains to be seen, but it does look like it would be open to an incentive-laden deal:
In order to extend his contract, Bayern would like to reduce Leroy Sané’s base salary. Sané, who currently earns around €20m per year in total (base salary + bonuses) could agree to that, provided he could still reach a similar sum through variables.
Sané has been reported to want to stay with Bayern Munich, but clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Liverpool have all been (very) loosely linked to the Germany international.
