According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is expect to re-engage in talks with Jamal Musiala before the end of the calendar year.
At the heart of the matter will be Musiala’s pay. The youngster is looking to go over €20 million per season:
The second negotiations round between Bayern and Jamal Musiala will take place before the end of this year. After a good first meeting, Bayern will now present their offer. It is expected that Musiala would become one of the club’s top earners with over €20m gross per year. The club wants to finalize the agreement and make an announcement this year.
Assuredly, Bayern Munich wants to get Musiala’s new deal inked as soon as possible. With this season unlikely (at least at this point) to produce European glory, it would behoove Bayern Munich to wrap this up with Musiala quickly before any outside influences can state their case.
