What happened to the good vibes? Bayern Munich has just one win out of its last five games but travel now to face VfL Bochum, the team sitting at the very bottom of the Bundesliga table.
It is a chance to exercise frustrations for the Bavarians, who have much to prove after a 4-1 shellacking at the hands of Hansi Flick’s FC Barcelona at the midweek — but perhaps no way to do it at Bochum, even with a dominating result.
Still it is time for Vincent Kompany and company to get back to work. Will anyone be watching? The press corps for this week’s pre-match press conference was a ghost town…but hopefully BFW won’t be on game day this Sunday.
