This past summer, Paris Saint-Germain was one of the suitors pursuing former Manchester United standout Jadon Sancho, who eventually moved to Chelsea.
PSG’s attack has struggled this 2024-25 season, which explains why the capital club had Sancho in mind to add more scoring depth behind Brady Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé out on the wing.
Nonetheless, the Ligue 1 side didn’t pull the trigger on the Englishman and he eventually left Old Trafford at the last minute to join Chelsea.
The deal requires the Blues to pay Manchester United between £20-25 million for the former Borussia Dortmund player next summer. Sancho joined United from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021 for £73 million but struggled at Old Trafford.
Over three full seasons, he made 83 appearances. However, a well-publicized fallout with now-former manager Erik ten Hag resulted in him training away from the first team.
