One Chelsea player who never gets the love he should be getting has been named by one former professional player this week.
Chelsea player have often been getting a lot of stick in the last couple of seasons as things became pretty turmoil under the new ownership. It has been very up and down since they arrived in at the club, but mainly down.

However, things look like they might finally now be coming together as the team string a good run of results and performances together under new manager Enzo Maresca. Something seems to have changed this season, and everything now finally seems to be clicking into place.
Striker Nicolas Jackson was one of those players who faced heavy criticism from pundits and some Chelsea fans when he first arrived at the club. He did take a while to settle, and he became known for missing too many easy chances.
But now, he is completely thriving and has become one of the most important players in that Chelsea attack.
Foster says Jackson needs more love
Former professional goalkeeper Ben Foster has been speaking about Jackson this week, and he believes the striker needs much more praise.
He said on the FozCast: “One player who never gets the love he should is Nicolas Jackson. Fair play to him, he’s doing the job. He’s putting the ball in the back of the net and he’s doing it on the regular.”
I actually think Jackson most certainly is now getting the love that he has earned with some great performances this season. It was really rather last season that he was perhaps not getting as much credit as he should have been getting for some good performances, especially in the second half of the season.
