Reportedly, Müller has been told by the club that they would like him to take on an active role in management or as an ambassador for the club after his retirement. It seems as though this has been the expectation for years and almost an inevitability. However, Müller seems to have another idea in mind, at least for now.

As reported by Christian Falk, the Raumdeuter has multiple inquiries from TV stations to work as a TV expert after retirement. While Müller would almost certainly be a successful manager, it is very easy to see him also become a pundit or commentator.
If anyone has to comedic chops and knowledge of the game, it would be Müller. Regardless of what he chooses to do, fans everywhere will just be happy to see him still involved.
