Most Bayern Munich loanees were back in action this week, including in European action. We also found out where Krätzig has been hiding — with Stuttgart’s second team who plays in the 3. Liga. Comment whether you think he is better off at Stuttgart getting reps with their second team or if Bayern should recall him or relocate him during the Winter transfer window. Also, Tanikawa scores again in what should be her last match in Sweden. It will be exciting to see what she does with Bayern — hopefully as soon as January. See what all the loanees were up to this final week before another men’s international break.
FC Bayern Munich
There are nine players on loan from the first team.
Germany – Bundesliga
There are five players on loan in the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Franz Krätzig, Paul Wanner, Armando Sieb, and Gabriel Vidovic
Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
Nübel and Stuttgart had two home matches this week and struggled in both. On Wednesday, they hosted Atalanta in the Champions League. He only recorded two saves while allowing two goals. Unfortunately, Deniz Undav came out with injury and their attack suffered because of it. Stuttgart was shutout and fell 2-0.
Stuttgart hosted Frankfurt in league play on Sunday. Nübel followed up his two saves midweek with just two more saves against Frankfurt. They found themselves down 3-0 by the 62nd minute, before finally scoring two goals in the final five minutes of regulation. A late would-be equalizer was chalked off by VAR in the 90+7 for offsides and the match ended 3-2.
Franz Krätzig – VfB Stuttgart
Krätzig was on the bench for Stuttgart’s UCL match on Wednesday, but did not make it onto the pitch. He was not on the matchday squad on Sunday for Stuttgart’s Bundesliga match, but instead he was with Stuttgart II for their 3. Liga match against Unterhaching. He started for them and played 86 minutes.
Stuttgart will host Bochum after the international break.
Paul Wanner – 1.FC Heidenheim
Wanner started on the bench for Heidenheim’s trip to Scotland for their Conference League match against Hearts. Just after his team went up 1-0, Wanner came into the match in the 62nd minute. Within a minute he recorded his lone shot of the night — which went well wide. He only had 14 touches, but did not directly affect the match. Heidenheim added one more and won 2-0 on the road.
Wanner started on Sunday in Bundesliga play at home against Wolfsburg. He again only recorded one shot, which was blocked this time. He did his best, though, to create chances for his teammates with four chances created. He also completed 89% of his passes. Unfortunately this was enough to help his team win and they fell 3-1 at home.
Heidenheim will travel to face Leverkusen after the international break.
Armando Sieb – 1. FSV Mainz 05
Sieb was on the bench for most of Mainz’ home match against Dortmund. He watched Emre Can get a red card in the 27th minute when the match was scoreless. Mainz poured on three goals and went on to win 3-1. Sieb came into the 90th minute. He had just one touch total.
Gabriel Vidović – 1. FSV Mainz 05
Vidović was missing from the matchday squad again for Mainz 3-1 win over Dortmund.
Mainz will travel north to face Holstein Kiel after the break.
Spain – LaLiga
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga.
Bryan Zaragoza – CA Osasuna
Zaragoza was on the bench for Osasuna’s cup match against Chiclana, but did not make it onto the pitch for the 5-0 blowout of the lower-division team.
Osasuna was back on the road this weekend, this time to Real Madrid. Zaragoza started and played 82 minutes. He might have had his worst match of the season so far. He did not record a shot or a chance created, and he only completed 36% of his passes. Meanwhile Vinicius Jr. scored a hattrick and Bellingham added a fourth to make a 4-0 loss.
Osasuna will host Villareal after the international break.
Austria – Bundesliga
Lovro Zvonarek is the only player from the first team on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga.
Lovro Zvonarek – Sturm Graz
Zvonarek was on the bench for the beginning of Sturm Graz’s Champions League match away against Borussia Dortmund. He came on at halftime with the match level at 0-0. He had one shot from well outside the box that went just over the bar. He completed all but one of his passes for a 90% completion rating. Graz was unable to get a goal in the second half, but Dortmund did and won it 1-0.
Back in Austria, Sturm Graz was on the road to Hartberg. Zvonarek was on the bench but did not make it onto the pitch for the 2-1 win.
Sturm Graz will host SK Austria Klagenfurt after the break.
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
Maurice Krattenmacher is the only player from the first team on loan to the 2. Bundesliga
Maurice Krattenmacher – SSV Ulm 1846
Krattenmacher started for Ulm away to 1. FC Magdeburg. In the 63 minutes on the pitch, he had one shot attempt and one chance created. There was not much going on in the match overall, which ended 0-0.

Gibson Nana Adu is the only player on loan from the first team in the 3. Liga.
Gibson Nana Adu – Unterhaching
Adu started on the road against Stuttgart II and his fellow loanee Krätzig. He played 67 minutes, but did not directly contribute to a goal. He left when the match level at 2-2, but Stuttgart II got a later winner in the 80th minute.
Unterhaching will host Wehen Wiesbaden after the break.
FC Bayern Munich II
There are twelve players on loan from the second team.
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
Hyun-ju Lee is the only player from the second team loaned out to the 2. Bundesliga
Hyun-ju Lee – Hannover 96
Lee started for Hannover 96 away to Elversberg. The only significance he contributed to the attack was his 100% passing accuracy. But unfortunately they needed shots — and goals — to keep up with Elversberg. Lee left in the 70th minute when his team was down 3-0. Hannover pulled one back in the 90th minute but it was too late. They fell 3-1, but still lead the league going into the international break.
Hannover will host Darmstadt after the break.
Germany – 3. Liga
Max Scholze is the only player from the second team on loan to the 3. Liga
Max Scholze – SC Verl
Scholze was on the bench for Verl’s 1-0 home win over Hansa Rostock, but did not make it onto the pitch.
Verl will host Stuttgart II after the break.
Germany – Regionalliga
There are six players Regionalliga teams: Lukas Schneller in Regionalliga Bayern, Luka Parkadge and Robert Deziel Jr in Regionalliga Nordost, and Yousef Qashi and Benedikt Wimmer in Regionalliga West.
Lukas Schneller – Schweinfurt 05
Schneller started in goal for Schweinfurt against SpVgg Hankofen-Hailing. He was able to keep a clean sheet while watching his team put five goals past his contemporary. The 5-0 win keeps them firmly atop the table.
Schweinfurt will go on the road to face TSV Buchbach on Saturday.
Marko Popović – Türkgücü München
Popović was on the bench to start against Illertissen, but came onto the match at halftime down 1-0. While on the pitch, he saw his team concede another goal to go down 2-0, but then pull back a goal to make it 2-1. Unfortunately they could not complete the comeback and fell 2-1.
Türkgücü will face Augsburg II on Friday.
Luka Parkadze – Altglienicke
Parkadze started against VFC Plauen. He was subbed off just after his team scored to make it 1-0. His teammates were able to finish off the 1-0 win.
Robert Deziel Jr – Altglienicke
Deziel started on the bench, but came in for the last 13 minutes. Altglienicke were up 1-0 and he helped finish off the home win.
Altglienicke will be away Friday to 1.FC Wilmersdorf in the Berliner Pokal.
Yousef Qashi – Wupertaler SV
Qashi was on the bench, but did not make it onto the pitch for Wupertaler SV against Duisburg.
Benedikt Wimmer – Wupertaler SV
Wimmer started for the Wupertaler SV at home at MSV Duisburg. He helped on defense, but Duisburg was too much and they fell 2-1.
Wupertaler SV will face SC Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in their local cup match.
Austria – Bundesliga
Matteo Pérez Vinlöf is the only player on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga from the second team.
Matteo Pérez Vinlöf – Austria Wien
Vinlöf started for Austria Wien and played the first 73 minutes against Wolfsberger AC. He did not have a shot, nor a chance created for his teammates to shoot, and he only completed 65% of his passes. He helped a bit on defense to help with the shutout, but overall did not stand out. He left the match with his team up 1-0 and his teammates held on to that scoreline for a road win.
Wien will host Hartberg after the break.
Austria – 2. Liga
Tom Hülsmann is the only player on loan to the Austrian 2. Liga from the second team
Tom Hülsmann – SKN St. Pölten
Hülsmann started and played the full match for St. Pölten on the road against SW Bregenz. Individual stats are readily available in the 2.Liga, but according to my sources Bregenz put 17 shots on goal during the match, but did not score a goal. This would mean that Hülsmann had 17 saves. Whether or not that number is inflated, he got the shutout and the 4-0 win.
St Pölten will travel to face Rapid Wien II after the break.
Netherlands – Kampioen Divisie
David Jonathans is the only player on loan to the Dutch Kampioen Divisie.
David Jonathans – FC Den Bosch
Jonahtans was not in the matchday squad for FC Den Bosch’s 1-0 road loss to TOP Oss.
Den Bosch will host Excelsior after the break.
Portugal – Liga Portugal
Taichi Fukui is the only player on loan in Liga Portugal.
Taichi Fukui – FC Arouca
Fukui was on the bench for the beginning of Arouca’s road match to Famalicao. He entered the match in the 74th minute when the match was even at 0-0. He had just one shot in the 90th minute — a shot from well outside the box and just a bit high. He completed 100% of his passes, but could not create anything for his team to find the winning goal. The match ended in a scoreless draw.
Arouca will host Farense after the break.
FC Bayern Frauen
There are five players on loan from FC Bayern’s Frauen team.
Germany — Frauen-Bundesliga
Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir is the only player on loan in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir – Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Vilhjálmsdóttir was on the bench to start against Turbine Potsdam, but came onto the pitch in the 60th minute with her team up 2-0. She had one shot that was on target, but did not create anything else in the attack. Leverkusen added a third goal and they cruised to an easy 3-0 win.
England – Women’s Super League
Jill Baijings is the only player on loan to the Women’s Super League.
Jill Baijings – Aston Villa
Baijings — again — was not on the matchday squad for Villa’s scoreless road draw against Manchester United.
Villa will host Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Spain – Primera División Femenina
Natalia Padilla is the only player on loan to the Primera División Femenina.
Natalia Padilla – FC Sevilla
Padilla was on the bench to start Sevilla’s road match against Madrid CFF. She came into the match in the 55th minute with the match level at 0-0. Padilla did not have a shot attempt, but she completed all but one of her passes. Within five minutes of he coming into the match, Sevilla went up 1-0, but unfortunately conceded two goals and fell 2-1 on the road.
Sevilla will host Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
Sweden – Damallsvenskan
Momoko Tanikawa is the only player on loan to the Damallsvenskan.
Momoko Tanikawa – FC Rosengård
Tanikawa started and scored again for Rosengård in their final match of the season. To no one’s surprise, she scored again. Her goal opened the scoring and Rosengård went on to win 3-0 on the road.
During her time at Rosengård — this full calendar year except the time she was with the Japanese National Team during the Olympics — she started in all 20 matches that she appeared in and scored 17 goals and had three assists. They won all but one game and scored 99 goals and conceded just nine.
Italy – Serie A
Cecilía Rán Rúnarsdóttir is the only player on loan to Serie A
Cecilía Rán Rúnarsdóttir – Inter Milan
Rúnarsdóttir started in goal for Inter at home against Lazio. She kept another clean sheet and with the help of a goal in the 30th minute, earned the win over the Roman team.
Inter will travel to face UC Sampdoria on Saturday.
