Bayern Munich do like a high value, high profile striker and after entering the fray for in-form Sporting Club striker Viktor Gyökeres, it looks like the club has their sights set on Lille forward Jonathan David. The 24-year-old Canadian is on the radar of many clubs across Europe and he can be acquired for the good price of one 2019 Lucas Hernandez:
Jonathan David would cost a package of around €80m next summer as a free agent (including wages, agents commission and signing on fee). His agent is in talks with several clubs. Bayern are among clubs interested.

Some people see this as a move to stop Alphonso Davies from moving to Real Madrid, given that both players are the main men of the Canadian Men’s National Soccer Team and know each other well. With contract negotiations with both Bayern and Madrid nonexistent (the latter happily waiting for Davies to leave on a free), the Rekordmeister will have to play their cards correctly.
