Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is reportedly doubtful to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League following a thigh injury picked up against Chelsea earlier this month.
The England international has been a key player for the London giants and he has already made more than 10 goal contributions in all competitions.
Saka missed a couple of key games last month with a hamstring injury and he picked up a similar concern in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea this month.
He did not report for international duty with England as a result and Daily Mail claim that he is now doubtful for Saturday’s encounter against Forest.
The Gunners graduate will need to be assessed by the medical team, but there is optimism that he will recover in time for the crucial league clash.
Arsenal are already nine points behind leaders Liverpool after a four-match winless streak and the upcoming game is a must-win for them.
Saka’s presence would hugely improve the club’s prospects of beating Forest, who are also flying high and are fifth in the table as things stand.
