Julen Lopetegui is under real pressure right now, ahead of the Newcastle vs West Ham clash, after his side’s awful start to the Premier League campaign.
It has been claimed that Lopetegui has two games to save his job – the upcoming matches against Newcastle and Arsenal.
His time at the London Stadium has been anything but enjoyable so far, and he seems completely lost if truth be known.
The players seem like they don’t want to play for him, and it shows with their performances so far this season.
We have to start seeing some improvements soon, even if the results aren’t there.
That’s the main issue the Hammers fans have right now – there is no evidence to suggest that anything has changed from last season.
In fact, it could actually be argued that we’ve gone backwards. And now, things could be set to get even worse for us.

The Hammers are in real trouble right now, and the last thing we need is a trip up to St James’ Park to take on a reinvigorated Newcastle.
Lopetegui spoke to reporters ahead of the match and provided an injury update, as quoted by WHUFC.com.
And unfortunately, it wasn’t very good news that he shared.
“We’ve had a little problem with two players, but we have to check tomorrow“, the Spaniard said. “I hope they’ll be ready for Monday.“
“Niclas Füllkrug is improving, but he’s not ready yet.“
I’m hoping and praying that the two unnamed players are not key men.
Having someone like Jarrod Bowen or Max Kilman unavailable for the Newcastle game would be terrible news for West Ham.
It has been a terrible start to the 2024/25 season so far for the Hammers, but a positive performance and result up at Newcastle could completely change the narrative.
Lopetegui desperately needs a win to get the fans, the board, and to a certain extent the players back onside.
The last thing the Spaniard needs is injury problems heading into the game, but by the sounds of it, he definitely has a little headache in that department.
