Bayern Munich is looking to snap up some talents in the upcoming transfer windows, one of them being Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian forward has caught the eye of the footballing world after putting in some stellar performances in the Bundesliga lately. But will Bayern Munich be able to pull it off?
According to a report (Florian Plettenberg, via @iMiaSanMia), despite showing interest in Marmoush, Bayern appears unlikely to pursue the forward due to his hefty €60M price tag. While Marmoush has proven himself as a versatile attacker, capable of playing across the front line, Bayern’s management is reportedly hesitant to invest such a large sum for a player who isn’t a guaranteed starter.
While Marmoush would be a more than valuable addition to the squad, Bayern’s attack is already stacked with stars like Harry Kane, Leroy Sané, and Kingsley Coman, and so the need for another big-money forward isn’t as pressing.
For now, it seems Bayern will look elsewhere—or stick with their current options—as they aim to strengthen their squad without overpaying in an already inflated market. Marmoush may have to wait for another chance to join the Bavarian giants.
