Youth academy graduate Adam Aznou, a name fairly familiar amongst Bayern Munich fans despite his limited minutes for the first team, has featured in most Bayern Munich match day rosters in 2024 and even made his debut for Die Roten in November.
Despite being considered one of Bayern’s hottest prospects, the latest reports from Tz suggest that the 18-year-old Moroccan could be on the move come the January transfer window, albeit on loan (via @iMiaSanMia).
Internally, FC Bayern is currently discussing a loan for Adam Aznou. A decision should be made by Christmas.
Aznou currently faces a string of competition in the left-back position. Primarily occupied by Alphonso Davies, Raphaël Guerreiro and potentially Hiroki Ito could also see minutes along the left side of defence, leaving a slim chance of minutes for Aznou.
Pacey and a good crosser of the ball, Bayern certainly have a talent in Aznou, however, with limited minutes available, a loan move could be the best solution for Aznou’s long-term development.
For the moment, the academy graduate hasn’t been linked to any clubs, likely because the player’s loan is still in discussion. Although, should Bayern decide to send Aznou on loan, there will surely be a host of clubs interested in taking the young talent.
Nonetheless, Aznou will have to wait until Christmas, at least, until a decision has been made on his immediate future.
