Tottenham Hotspur centre forward Richarlison has been subject to ample criticism owing to his struggles to find his feet at White Hart Lane. The Brazilian striker joined the Lilywhites in a transfer worth £60m from Everton; however, he hasn’t been able to replicate his Goodison Park form at N17.
The North Londoners have been looking at possibilities to call curtains to Richy’s time at the club given his injury concerns of late. He has featured for barely 88 minutes in the Premier League in the ongoing 2024/25 campaign, and that shows how ever-present he has been on the treatment table.
The former Watford star was subject to links with a potential exit in the summer window as Spurs looked to make him a part of the mass exodus; however, Richarlison somehow found a way to stay put—though that could now change.
Middle East interest in Richarlison
Eduardo Borges of Diario AS reports that multiple Saudi Pro League clubs have been looking into the situation ahead of the upcoming January transfer window. However, while the player was not leaning towards a move to the Middle East in the summer, it is to be seen if he can be persuaded to change his mind this time around.
For Daniel Levy and Tottenham, they would be looking to recoup a portion of the £60m invested in Richarlison’s signatures while also freeing up space to sign another backup striker.

But as suggested, we will see whether or not Richarlison is convinced to make a move to the Middle East, but his continuing struggles show that either way his time at Tottenham is due.
