“No, normally go out 12-14 days before, but the fight is on the 12th of April and Liverpool play Everton the Wednesday before, the 2nd of April, so I’m going to fly the next day,” said Pimblett. “I need to be in Anfield to watch the Reds beat the Blues. I can’t wait for that.”
Asked about his preparation for his fight with Chandler, Pimblett added: “Yeah, training is going well. It all got confirmed about ten days ago, two weeks ago now, so I’ve known that I’m fighting for a while.
“I wanted it to be Miami, so I’m very, very happy I’m fighting in Miami. And you know, the diet has started, the weight is coming down, I’m training well and doing loads of rounds in the gym, so I can’t wait to get back in there. It’s been a while.”
