Well, here we go. Our confirmed MUFC XI for the FA Cup final vs Man City is now in…
Manchester United Football Club take on Manchester City in the FA Cup final. This is the big one, with more than just a trophy on the line.
Erik ten Hag has pulled out some managerial masterclasses during his short tenure as boss. We’re going to need another one here.
The nerves are now fully kicking in. The game will kick off soon. Ahead of the contest, there has been plenty of debate in regard to how United will set up.
Well, now we know, with the confirmed line-up fully in. It’s pretty much as you’d expect, but let’s give you the full run down.
Check out our confirmed MUFC XI vs Man City in full here:
David de Gea starts in between the sticks, with the Spaniard expecting to have a pretty busy afternoon. He’s going to have to put in a blinding performance to ensure his side emerge victorious in this one.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has ended the season in good form. It’s only fair he keeps his place in the XI. Hopefully, he can do a number on Jack Grealish. Luke Shaw is the starting left-back, meaning Victor Lindelof partners Raphael Varane at the heart of the defence.
Casemiro has been a midfield rock. We’re going to need all his experience and tactical astuteness here. Fred plays alongside his compatriot, with United packing the midfield, including Christian Eriksen in there, too.
Marcus Rashford starts and leads the line. His pace is going to be absolutely crucial. To his right and left respectively is Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho. Let’s see if these lads can come up with the goods.
