Ilkay Gundogan stunned Manchester United when he scored the quickest ever FA Cup final goal in just 12 seconds to open the scoring for Manchester City.
In a dramatic start at Wembley, the German midfielder fired home a sumptuous volley from outside the area when the game had barely begun, sending City supporters into delirium at Wembley.
Pep Guardiola’s side kicked off with Gundogan passing straight back to goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
City’s No 2 stopper fired the ball upfield, with Erling Haaland winning his header.
But as Victor Lindelof tried to clear the ball, it deflected up off Kevin de Bruyne and Gundogan volleyed it into the top corner.

The 32-year-old has been in majestic form for City over the past few months, stepping up at important times as they won the Premier League title for a third season in a row.
Gundogan scored twice in crucial wins over Leeds and Everton as they overturned an eight-point deficit to Arsenal and won their first trophy in the hunt for a historic Treble.
City started in fine fashion at Wembley with Rodri going close after Gundogan’s stunner, while they looked to dominate possession right from the get-go.
However, Bruno Fernandes equalised from the penalty spot for United after a controversial handball decision on Jack Grealish.
If City can emerge victorious on Saturday, they then travel to Istanbul to face Inter Milan in the Champions League final next weekend as they aim to become the first and only side since United in 1998-99 to win a Treble.
