Manchester City‘s stars queued up for pictures and sang their hearts out after they bumped into Elton John during their FA Cup celebrations.
Pep Guardiola’s side clinched their second trophy of the season after a 2-1 victory over rivals Manchester United at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan scored a brace for the Premier League champions to keep their dreams of a historic Treble alive.
However, the best performance of the night perhaps came during the celebrations afterwards, as the squad and staff serenaded the legendary singer.
After flying back to Manchester from the match in London, City’s squad were seen in high spirits bumping into John on the airport runway.

A video showed City’s stars queuing up to meet John, with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Kyle Walker all sharing warm greetings.
Then, in another video posted by the Man City Twitter account, City’s staff can be seen taking pictures with the singer whilst belting out his famous ‘Your Song’.
At the end of the singing, John took a moment to talk and said: ‘One more next week!’. The City staff began to applaud straight after.
They then all gathered round for a picture, where the players and staff could be beaming with smiles alongside the singer.
John looked pleased to be part of the celebrations and so did City boss Pep Guardiola, who could be seen in the background before joining the applause.
The 76-year-old had performed, earlier in the night, the final show of his three-day stint at the AO Arena in Manchester when the incident occurred.
The surprise meet-up will be the perfect way to end the day for City, who kept their hopes of securing a historic Treble alive with a win over Man United.
Gundogan’s brace ensured that Guardiola’s side will be full of motivation heading into their Champions League final clash with Inter Milan next weekend.

The match at Wembley was settled after a thrilling encounter between the two Manchester giants.
German midfielder Gundogan opened the scoring within 12 seconds – the quickest in FA Cup final history – to give City an early lead.
But, after a hand-ball call on Jack Grealish, United were level thanks to a converted penalty from Portuguese playmaker Bruno Fernandes.
However, despite United’s best efforts, it was City who came out on top thanks to Gundogan’s second goal of the game – an awkward volley that bobbled into the net.
