Man City’s party boys put a cork in three-day Treble celebrations as they arrive for England duty on Tuesday night, with Jack Grealish and Co set to resume light training on Wednesday
Manchester City’s euphoric England players return to work on Wednesday as they put a cork in their three-day booze-fuelled Champions League celebrations.
Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Phil Foden and Kalvin Phillips all reported for international duty at St George’s Park on Tuesday night and are due to be assessed before undergoing a light training session.
England will head for Malta on Thursday ahead of Friday’s Euro 2024 qualifier, with all five City stars due to travel.
It is unlikely they will start the match as they have missed two tactical training sessions. But City’s players will be in contention for Monday’s game against North Macedonia at Old Trafford.
Boss Gareth Southgate will be asked about City’s extensive celebrations in tomorrow’s pre-match press conference.

Grealish, in particular, has been at the centre of City’s Treble festivities.
Speaking yesterday, Aston Villa’s Tyrone Mings, who has played with Grealish at club and international level, said: ‘It is extremely wild. The only thing he needs to do is do it at the right times and he’s just won the Treble so I don’t think anybody can begrudge him going out and letting his hair down.’
