Borussia Dortmund have reportedly been interested in Manchester City youngster Cole Palmer for quite some time and are now contemplating a move for the Englishman.
The German club have plenty of funds available following the £113m sale of Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid and filling that gap in midfield is obviously a priority.
And Bild claim Dortmund are now taking a closer look at Palmer with a view to adding him to their ranks this summer.
Palmer, 21, made his debut for City towards the back end of 2020 and has since found himself playing a bit-part role in Pep Guardiola’s team.
He started just two Premier league games last season, both when the title had been wrapped up, and he must now decide whether the Treble winning giants are the right place for him to develop.

Dortmund have a history of developing young English payers such as Bellingham and Jadon Sancho and it could be a very appealing move for Palmer at this point in his career.
Palmer, who represents England at youth level and can play a number of positions, still has three years remaining on his City deal meaning he would command a reasonable fee.

Mejbri spent last season on loan playing in the Championship for Birmingham City and has apparently caught the interest of a host of European clubs.
The 20-year-old midfielder starred during his first full season in senior football, making 40 appearances across the Championship and FA Cup, scoring one goal and registering six assists.
