Mason Mount is here. He’s officially a Red Devil.
Manchester United Football Club have landed their man. Mason Mount has signed for the Red Devils on a long-term contract, in a big-money move from Chelsea.
The deal sees Erik ten Hag being delivered one of his key targets, which is massive for the success of this team going forward. Hopefully, this is the first of many important squad additions over the next couple of months.
For now, though, it’s about celebrating the arrival of Mount. The Englishman, aged 24, leaves Chelsea with a point to prove following a pretty tough season in 2022/23.
He certainly seems ready for the challenge and task ahead, with Mount looking to prove a point to any that doubted him over the last twelve months.
Anyway, before joining in on his first pre-season session tomorrow, the first photos of Mount wearing United colours have been released. Red certainly suits him!

I always love moments like these. You can see just how happy he looks at joining the biggest club in the country and I genuinely get the impression he cannot wait to get out on that hallowed Old Trafford turf and put in some monstrous performances.
What I love most about Mount is the fact that he’s a big-game player. When his side needs him the most, he rises to the occasion and steps up to the plate. United need more of that inside that dressing room.
He’s an all-round player who is the perfect fit for this current system. Mount will also be afforded the luxury of heading out on tour with his new teammates.
