Man United are still intent on bringing in Rasmus Hojlund to fill their striker spot this summer.
Manchester United Football Club are still in the market to sign a new striker this summer, with the Red Devils looking to offer some help to Anthony Martial.
Erik ten Hag needs that player who can guarantee goals. Whether old or young, experienced or a relative newcomer, United need to sign a forward.
Harry Kane’s name was ruled out pretty early. Since that point, it feels like Rasmus Hojlund is the name the Red Devils are chasing. The forward enjoyed an excellent term with Atalanta, breaking onto the scene and ensuring that Europe’s big boys are taking note of his displays.
Fabrizio Romano has offered an update on Hojlund, claiming that the young striker remains ‘top’ of United’s list for a signing in the attacker position.
Personal terms are not going to be an issue, with the player ‘very keen’ on the move.
As of yet, no official bid has been made. Romano suspects that will remain the case until a new goalkeeper is signed.
A move for Hojlund does feel likely, though nothing concrete will happen until Andre Onana is signed, sealed and delivered.
The Dane has a real eye for goal, while when given an opportunity, he rarely misses. United are craving that striker who can take those guilt-edged chances. Perhaps they’d have been closer to Arsenal and Manchester City if they’d have had that man last term.
Hopefully, it doesn’t take too long to wrap up this move for Onana, then, Hojlund will be the next man on the list for Ten Hag and this United side.
