Our Man United player ratings during the 1-0 win vs Fulham are now in.
Andre Onana – Kept it simple with the ball at feet which proved to be effective. Made some vital stops. 6/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Steady enough on both sides of the ball. Made some typically inch-perfect sliding tackles. 6/10
Harry Maguire – Outstanding given the situation. Took a bang to the head early but fought through and was solid. Easily United’s best. 8/10
Jonny Evans – Also solid, particularly after many were calling for Varane to start. Won headers. Did his job excellently. 7/10
Diogo Dalot – Just didn’t look great. His passing was sloppy while often taking the wrong decision. 3/10
Christian Eriksen – Played as United’s deepest midfielder and was bypassed far too easily on numerous occasions. His passing was uncharacteristically sloppy. 3/10
Scott McTominay – Given permission to get forward and join in on the attack. Worked his socks off and played with intent. 5/10
Bruno Fernandes – Had a relatively quiet game for the most part. Felt a little too rushed, though the match-winning goal was all his own work. Sheer genius. 7/10
Antony – Tragic. Didn’t do anything well. Was poor with the ball at feet. Didn’t look confident at all. 2/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Probably United’s attacker with the most intent. Tried to drive in and cause problems for the opposition. 5/10
Rasmus Hojlund – I felt sorry for him. Was fuming when he came off but had absolutely no service at all. 5/10
Subs:
Mason Mount – Helped swing the tide in United’s favour.
Anthony Martial – Offered very little.
Facundo Pellistri – His penetration definitely helped United win all three points.
Raphael Varane – Brought on to secure the result.
