Andre Onana – Could not do anything about either goal. Made some important saves at crucial times. Distribution was decent. 6/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – His work for the opener was excellent. Defended well, particularly in the one-on-one scenario. 7/10
Harry Maguire – Was playing pretty well until inadvertently handling the ball. It seemed to hurt his nerves. Was trying to play out from the back for the eventual late winner. 4/10
Jonny Evans – Went off pretty early with injury. Not enough time to mark properly. 5/10
Diogo Dalot – Steady but unspectacular. Shifted over to the left-back position. Was caught napping for the Copenhagen third. 3/10
Scott McTominay – Worked hard in that defensive-midfield position. Covered every blade of grass for the cause. 6/10
Christian Eriksen – Looked a little leggy, particularly after United went down to 10 men. Kept it neat and tidy in possession. 4/10
Bruno Fernandes – Had a fairly quiet evening. Wasn’t really given the space to create. Did score an outstanding penalty. 7/10
Marcus Rashford – Was sent off for a ‘tackle’ that looked far worse than it was. Perhaps it’s a red in the modern-day game but that doesn’t make it any less infuriating. 5/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Blew hot and cold. Looked threatening when running at his opposite number but did drift out of the game. Not helped by the red card. 5/10
Rasmus Hojlund – He was lethal in the first half. Scored two outstanding goals after finally getting some decent service. Ran his socks off. 8/10
Subs:
Raphael Varane – It was nice to see him out there. Caught napping for the Copenhagen winner.
Sofyan Amrabat – Energetic as you’d expect. Somewhat sloppy in possession.
Mason Mount – Not enough time to mark.
