There is a lot going on with the German national team these days, but there is one thing that head coach Julian Nagelsmann wants to remain constant: Letting Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala continue to work his “Moose Magic.”
“I want Jamal Musiala to keep playing in this magic way, like he’s on a small pitch anywhere in Germany or England… it doesn’t matter,” Nagelsmann said (as captured by Fabrizio Romano). “He should play like it’s football with his friends. Don’t think about the pressure, he’s just brilliant at playing football.”
Musiala has been superb in the EUROs with three goals in four games, plus a passing accuracy of 92%. Clearly, the youngster is having just the type of breakout campaign that the German national team was hoping for.
