Bayern Munich youngster Mathys Tel is struggling for minutes this season under Vincent Kompany, and that has not gone unnoticed around clubs in Europe hungry to add a dynamic attacker to their ranks.
Sky Sport DE journalist Florian Plettenberg reported on Monday that Premier League side Nottingham Forest, as well as Bundesliga club Werder Bremen, are monitoring Tel’s situation in Bavaria:

However, the 19y/o winger currently still has no plans to leave Bayern on loan this winter.
#Werder Bremen also have him on their radar, should Tel change his mind and signal a willingness to go out on loan, as was revealed last week.

Tel has appeared in just four of Bayern’s nine Bundesliga matches this season for a total of 114 minutes (via fbref). While the 19-year-old looks determined to make his breakthrough in Munich, his lack of playing time — and Bayern’s crowded attacking ranks, which currently boast Harry Kane up front and the likes of Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sané and Michael Olise on the wings — could change the outlook by the January transfer window.
