Germany is back in action for its third international period of the 2024/25 season.
Julian Nagelsmann and company remain first place in Germany’s Nations League table and now hold a commanding five-point lead with two games left to play: against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday (November 16th) and at Hungary on Tuesday (November 19th).
That could all change, of course, if Germany falters now. And it is getting easier to trip up — as the season wears on, the Champions League schedule heats up, and injuries and club demands pile up against what amount to relatively meaningless games.
For Germany though it is a team still seeking redemption after recent tournament defeats and a heartbreaking exit to Spain at the home-ground EUROs of 2024. Nagelsmann has this team playing electric football and will no doubt be looking to keep the run going.
