According to Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is, indeed, keeping a very close eye on Borussia Dortmund attacker Jamie Gittens.
Gittens is primarily a left-winger, but does have experience on both sides of the attack. With Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman as the team’s primary left-wingers during the first half of the season, it would make sense that the club is at least kicking the tires on a new look for the position.
If should also be noted that Leroy Sané has also featured at left-wing while Gnabry and Coman have been hurt and has done well there. Regardless, Sané is a free agent this summer and Gnabry (2026) and Coman (2027) might not have long-term futures with the club either.
One thing is clear, if Bayern Munich really wants Gittens, it will have to go to battle with clubs from England to get a deal done:
Bayern are following Jamie Gittens’ development, as reported by Sky yesterday, but as of now there’s no contact with the player’s camp. Several top clubs have already come knocking for next summer, including some clubs from the Premier League.
Gittens has none goals and fours assists in 23 games across all competitions this season.
