Man City midfielder James McAtee has not been favoured by Pep Guardiola as other players are priority. So far only two appearances in Premier League, with a total of just 8 outings in all. The England U.21 captain was expected to play a part for The Blues this season.
Leicester were seen as one of many clubs in the chase of McAtee in front of latter seasons, and at this point no secret to see the player being linked with a move away from The Etihad.
McAtee captained England U.21 in games earlier this year and do have a potential a number of clubs are ready to explore. Leicester is strangely not mentioned in the mix at this point, but McAtee should be the ideal player to call, being able to play in that wide position up front as well as covering the flank in a good way defensively as a in and out attacking midfield alternative.
🚨 Manchester City will have January interest in James McAtee, with Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Brentford, plus Bayer Leverkusen and Fiorentina all keen on the midfielder.

Sadly it looks as clubs a bit higher in the table and abroad are also very interested in this type of quality. Forest, West Ham and Brentford are seen as top chasers, also Bayer Leverkusen being mentioned as a potential destination.
James McAtee is the type of player that could be seen as a good option, but as we mentioned in an earlier story, the attraction of joining Leicester looks difficult for the type of player Leicester do need to invest in.
Latest rumours and transfer gossip makes indications regarding a potential central defender to be added, but that would be very strange, only happening we believe if Kaleb Okoli or Wout Faes becomes available for a transfer for a substantial fee.
This transfer window looks very difficult as always in January, potentially becoming another dull and fatigue period of fans frustration.
