Though 2024 was hardly a banner year for many at Bayern Munich, it certainly was a phenomenal year for one player. Aleksandar Pavlović started the year as a promising
talent and ended it as an invaluable member of Bayern’s squad, cramming in a meteoric rise, some dominant performances, a Champions League semi final start against Real Madrid and his Germany debut along the way.
In his rather typically understated manner, however, Pavlović’s assessment of his 2024 was one without any fluff: “It was certainly an exciting year,” Pavlović says, via @iMiaSanMia. “I’m very happy that I came back quickly after the injury and was able to play again. I’m very grateful for the year 2024.”
He is also looking the end the year in the most delicious manner possible. @iMiaSanMia captures Pavlović’s admittance of a nice and simple Christmas meal: “On Christmas Eve, it’s very simple and delicious: potato salad with sausages.”
Christmas meals hardly get more German than that. And what a deserved treat for Pavlović to end a brilliant year.
