According to Foot Mercato, former Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso could be on the move from Olympique Lyonnais.
The destination? Potentially, Brighton & Hove Albion, but it is unclear if Tolisso would even want the move:
Olympique Lyonnais is forced to sell this winter, but the most sought-after players do not always correspond to the wishes of the staff. Among them, Corentin Tolisso (30-years-old) attracts the interest of Brighton, according to information from the newspaper L’Équipe. The midfielder, author of a remarkable first half of the season, has found an excellent level after a year marked by difficulties.
The 10th team in the Premier League, in search of a “versatile and experienced midfielder”, has already made inquiries with the Lyon management and the player. Tolisso, under contract until June 2027, would be flattered by the interest of an ambitious club like Brighton. However, according to the sports daily, Corentin Tolisso is thriving in Lyon, in his training club and his city, alongside his friend Alexandre Lacazette.
It is good to see Tolisso playing on a consistent basis and warding off injuries, something he struggled to do in Bavaria.
