Arsenal are among several top clubs monitoring Johan Bakayoko, the highly-regarded PSV Eindhoven winger, as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
However, any immediate move for the 21-year-old Belgian appears unlikely, with his agent, Gerard Witters, confirming his client’s intention to remain in the Eredivisie.
“Bakayoko will not leave PSV this season, regardless of the amount,” Witters said, firmly shutting down the possibility of a January transfer amid interest from Newcastle United, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
Bakayoko’s rise has earned him widespread attention for his performances in both domestic and European competitions.
A natural right winger, Bakayoko’s game is built on explosive pace, tight ball control, and an ability to create and convert chances from wide positions.
Like Bukayo Saka, Bakayoko can excel in one-on-one situations, cutting inside onto his stronger foot or delivering precise crosses into the box.
His adaptability across the forward line offers an additional layer of depth, crucial for a club competing on multiple fronts.
Bakayoko is currently valued at around €40m and is under contract until 2026. He has six goals and three assists this season in 21 games.
