Jamal Musiala, Josip Stanišić, Hiroki Itō, João Palhinha, Daniel Peretz and Sacha Boey are definitely ruled out of Saturday’s game against Borussia Mönchengladbach
The plan for Musiala is to resume training after the Gladbach game and return to the squad against Hoffenheim on Wednesday.
With that in mind, here’s what the team should look like:
I’ve gone for the most sensible lineup possible, even if it meant including Leon Goretzka. Anyhow, the rest of the team is pretty much straightforward. Manuel Neuer returns as Daniel Peretz is out injured. I’ve gone with Eric Dier because Dayot Upamecano is suspended for one match after getting his fifth yellow card against Leipzig last month. Kim Min-jae, Alphonso Davies, and Konrad Laimer finish off the defence. Joshua Kimmich partners Goretzka in midfield, while Michael Olise, Thomas Müller, and Leroy Sané act as the trifecta behind Harry Kane.
