Everton are considering a move for Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah who was offered to them last summer.
The 21-year-old has also attracted interest from Fulham, who Mail Sport reported earlier this season saw a move fall through at the 11th hour while the player was having a medical last summer.
Nuamah’s route from Ghana to Europe was a familiar one, joining Nordsjaelland in Denmark thanks to their partnership with the Right to Dream Academy in his home country.
He then made his Lyon debut in the 2023-24 season after signing for the French giants back in 2024 following a brief stint with Belgium’s RWD Molenbeek.
Nuamah has played predominantly as a right winger, but is also capable of featuring on the left or even through the middle.
However, it has not been the most prolific season for the forward, who has managed just one goal in 17 appearances in all competitions.

David Moyes’s side are in need of offensive recruits having struggled for goals this season
Everton are in need of goals, with the Toffees in 16th place and only a point above relegation.
They have scored only 15 goals in the Premier League this season, with Southampton – rock bottom on six points – the only side with fewer (12).
Goodison Park welcomed David Moyes back after nearly 12 years as he replaced Sean Dyche, who had been axed in midweek after the club’s poor form.
After beating Peterborough in the FA Cup third round, Everton are next in action on Wednesday when they host Aston Villa in the league.
