Manchester City defender Ruben Dias is still not ready to return despite spending a month on the sidelines with a muscular injury.
The Portuguese international was expected to be available again in mid-January after playing his last game against Manchester United. However, when asked whether Dias was fit ahead of the FA Cup tie against Salford last weekend, manager Pep Guardiola said:
“Not yet. He feels better but not ready. I don’t know when.”
It remains to be seen whether Dias will be available to face the likes of Ipswich, Paris-Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Club Brugge and Arsenal in what could be a crucial couple of weeks for the Cityzens.
