Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring in new attacking players in the ongoing winter transfer window as the North Londoners look to compound on their offensive options as Ange Postecoglou looks to add more dynamism in his attack as the Lilywhites target a move for Alejandro Garnacho in the ongoing campaign.
The North Londoners have multiple wide players in the current roster, although they don’t have anyone who is going to grind in the press and carry the ball through within tight spaces, something Heung Min Son used to do for years.
No Garnacho till hefty fees are presented
However, despite the links with a move to White Hart Lane, the Lilywhites are unlikely to make a move for the Argentine star, per Football Insider. With senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke insisting that the Manchester Reds would sell the Argentine if a “huge sum” is presented.
At the moment it seems like Ruben Amorim & Co. would be forced to sell with the growing financial concerns at Old Trafford. Though they would only entertain selling the former Atletico Madrid starlet if hefty finances are presented to him.
There are also opportunities for the 20-year-old to be moving abroad with interest from Napoli leading the charts.
At the moment, Tottenham have been in the market for a new winger for some time now; however, Daniel Levy has failed to deliver a big-name wide forward who can change the game on its head. And with Garnacho, the North Londoners would be getting that if they were to sign him.
