According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich has it eyes on Lyon’s attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki:
Rayan Cherki is on Bayern’s radar. Bayern scouts were in the stadium to watch him against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League. Borussia Dortmund also maintain an interest in the player.
While Cherki might be on Bayern Munich’s radar, he is not necessarily a “hot topic” per Sky Sport journalists Florian Plettenberg and Patrick Berger. Instead, Borussia Dortmund (reeling) and Bayer Leverkusen (surging) could be ready to make a move:
EXCL. Rayan Cherki (21/ ) could leave Olympique Lyon this summer for a transfer fee of around €22m. There is a secret verbal agreement (an exit option) between the player and the French club, made during his last contract extension in September.
Cherki’s contract runs until 2026. Dortmund, Leverkusen, and Bayern are monitoring his situation. But nothing hot or concrete at this stage.
